In a recent legal filing in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin, plaintiffs Christopher Cousineau and Zachary Fleury have initiated a civil rights lawsuit against the City of Milwaukee and police officer Aaron W. Froh, Jr. The case arises from an incident on September 24, 2025, where Officer Froh allegedly conducted an unlawful entry into the plaintiffs’ home without a warrant or consent. The lawsuit claims this action violated their Fourth Amendment rights against unreasonable search and seizure. According to the complaint, Officer Froh responded to a report of packages piling up at the plaintiffs’ residence and proceeded to break into their home despite receiving no response at the doorbell and being informed through a smart doorbell system that no one was home. The plaintiffs are seeking compensatory and punitive damages for mental distress and property damage.
