Eastern District of Wisconsin proposes changes to local civil rules

The Local Rules Committee of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin has put forward recommended amendments to Civil Local Rule 12 and Civil Local Rule 56(a). The committee has made a red-line version of the proposed changes available for public review.

Members of the public and interested parties are encouraged to submit their comments on these proposed amendments. Comments should be directed to Linda M. Klemm, Clerk of Court, via email at linda_klemm@wied.uscourts.gov by February 22, 2026.
